day-to-day living. laundry. haircuts. halloween. legos. practicing letters and numbers. the yummiest ginger drink sweetened with honey and a ginger heart garnish. a glorious pad thai bfast from pun pun.

Here we go again. Long travel days, customs, coffee, and last minute plans. Early out of Denver with bellies still full of thanksgiving dinner. A short stop in SFO before our flight to Mexico City.

We had booked a room in a budget place across the street from the airport and the gentleman at the desk was kind enough to direct us around the corner to the street food stalls for some tasty taco dinner before we called it a night. The tiny trickle of hot water in the shower wasn't quite enough to offset the evening chill.

Today we are off to Oaxaca. More to come once we get settled.

We have a very different view than the last few months. Nice to see family and have some comforts of home.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

China Town, Tamil-Style Temple and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple.

The length of the MRT.

A tin of gold paint flattened on the street. I thought it was beautiful.

Frogs on their way to dinner. They weren't the guests and they weren't heading to our plates.
The Hang Mua temple is a five minute walk from our guesthouse. Through a lovely garden and then up 500 steps up to the top where you see the dragon, the pagoda lantern and Kuan Yin statue. The panorama shots are from the top too. It is amazing here!

You have to walk to get to the guesthouse past goats, pigs, ducks and a sharp-tempered dog who responds quickly to simply picking up a stone.

The cave outside our hut. It is a circuit and you can follow it out through another hole.
